Crown Peak Track
Parking is off Cardrona Rd and the track starts across the stile and follows Coal Creek for a little then turns up a valley. We walk up the 4 WD track until we meet a pond. Our route then leaves the 4WD track and turns up a steep ridge. Somewhere on this ridge will be our lunch spot - we are definitely not going to Crown Peak!
Weather might be a bit drizzly but if that is the case Cardrona Hotel will be a hot prospect.

Google now charges to include a map, and their instructions on getting a free API_KEY are too gobbledegooglish for me to bother. The normal meeting place is the lake front near the showgrounds, Lat:-44.6990, Lng:169.1257.
