Hi team meet at the usual place 9.30am drive to Arrowtown walk up tobins track to braken saddle were well have lunch then continue round the loop back to the cars  metservice forecast is looking good for Monday

Hi team tomorrow s walk is a return walk to Mt Allen a climb of about 400 meters

Monday's walk 16th October

We will walk the Upper Clutha River track from Shortcut Rd to Albert Town, 14kms with some undulation.

Car shuttle to be arranged at the McDougal St/lake front car park. Leaving 9.30am. Transport cost $5.00.

Rocky Mountain 

Meeting at the usual place at 9.30 am 

Drive to Diamond lake car park,walk to top of Rocky Mountain have lunch then return to car park. The forecast looks good but may get a bit windy in the afternoon.

Mondays Walk - 2nd October 2023

Upper Clutha River Track

Meet at 9.30 at the waterfront car park opposite McDougall Street.
The weather forecast is not looking good with strong winds and rain or showers in the mix.

Plan A is to drive to the end of Kingston Road at Albert town and then walk down the Upper Clutha River track as far as practical to a suitable lunch spot.
Return on the same track to the cars.

Plan B be would be to retire to Edgewater for a coffee and chat.
