This is an easy lakeside walk on a 4wd track to Silver Island Bay, about 13 kms return. The topography is mostly flat with a few minor hills, with fabulous views of lake and mountains. We will have lunch at Silver Island Bay so pack your sandfly repellent.
FORDS......there are several small fords so take extra care if you are in an ordinary car, preferably we will use 4WD's.
There are many precious lambs wandering on the road so please be aware!

Butchers Dam - Flat Top Hill

The thyme is in bloom and the weather forecast says fine so we will head out past Alexandra to Flat Top Hill to breathe in that amazing scent.
