Kelvin Peninsular Trail and Sculpture Trail.
Meet 9.30 am at the waterfront car park opposite McDougall Street.
Drive to Frankton, pass through the Airport roundabout on State Highway 6, turn right before the traffic lights and head to the end of Bridge Street and the carpark above the Kawerau Bridge.
We will follow the Kelvin Peninsular Trail out to the golf course. The loop around the golf course forms the Kelvin Heights Sculpture Trail.
There are 4 sculptures 1. Prescence by Mark Hill, 2. Kelvin Peninsular Goats by Jeff Thompson. 3. Thru Link to Peak by Shane Woolridge (25 tons schist), 4. Wakatipu Kuikui by Mark Hill.
Approx 10k, 2 hours 40 easy walking time
