Monday's Walk 13th September

Plan A - Rocky Mountain:

If it looks like there is an improvement in the weather with rain dissipating early, Plan A is a local climb up Rocky Mountain (775m), 18.5km west of Wanaka, to clear away the Lockdown blues. It is a 7km , 3 hours return walk, and sections of the track could be slippery.

Plan B – Upper Clutha River Track:

If it is still wet and windy we could seek the shelter of the Clutha River, walking down from the Albert Town swing bridge ,via the Cardrona River, to about the Stevenson Road exit (7.5km, 2.5 hr  - one way), then return back the same route.
