Weather Forecast There are showers forecast and increasing over the morning with northwesterlies at 28 knots so it's not looking particularly pleasant.
The walk. Given the forecast we will stay low and by the river hopefully offering some shelter from the wind. Starting from the carpark opposite the Luggate Hotel we'll walk through the houses down to the River and then head downriver as far as we like for a suitable lunch spot. Then return the same way, giving us the option of turning back if it's too wet!

And if it's already raining at 9.30 then we can make plan B….coffee somewhere inside and dry.
