Destination: McPhies Ridge. From the Cluden Stream car park this is a 350 m climb over 5 km to a viewpoint over the Lindis Valley. If the weather deteriorates to the point of being unpleasant I will reserve the right to beat a hasty retreat to the Tarras café.
