Grandview Ridge Track - Deep Gully
Drive to the Sandy Point car park on the Wanaka Tarras road approximately 17 km from Wanaka. From there we will climb up in the direction of the telecommunications towers and then return via Deep Gully having refreshed ourselves with lunch at a suitable viewpoint over the Upper Clutha valley. This is definitely a circular walk! No water or shade available on this trip. Most of the walking is on 4WD tracks - some steep sections.
