Monday's walk 16th November
There is no walk organised for the 9:30 group as many of us are in Te Anau. But if you turn up at the usual time, no doubt others will too & someone will suggest somewhere to go and will lead the way.

First meeting at Te Anau
It is almost time to be packing and preparing for the Te Anau trip. The first happy hour will be at 5 p.m. at the holiday park on Monday 16th. - find out where the meeting room for the Wanaka Walkers is when you check in - remember to ask them for your Wanaka Walkers 10% discount.
The plans for walks each day will be decided at the time - taking into account the weather. We will try to have a choice each day - if you have a particular walk you want to do or (even better) lead, come to the meeting and speak up. Brian Gilbert has put his hand up to lead a walk to Lake Marian - maybe on Tuesday if the weather is OK.

Wanaka Walkers Monday 2 November
Luggate River walk
Drive to car park in Shortcut Road near the red bridge, Luggate. A short walk upstream to the proposed Red Bridge River Park, as envisaged and explained by Lewis Verduyn, then we will follow the track downstream. On the return we have the option of diverting via the Luggate Creek track to the Luggate hotel for coffee and back along the road verge.
