Monday's walk - 20 November
Some of our regular walkers are away to the Catlins this week but yes we will still be running a Monday walk from Wanaka.
Usual meeting time and place - then we travel to the Clyde Dam lookout to meet our local guide.
Russell will show us the way up to a hillside reservoir before following the contour south to the Clyde Cemetery, then returning to our cars through historic Clyde.
Sun hats and sun cream a must, coffee money optional.

Monday 13th November
Today we are going to Alexandra to the Flat Top Hill Conservation Area where we plan to walk the Flat Top Hill Trampers track. Rocky tracks but nothing too steep and strenuous although there is ups and downs.
The thyme should be in bloom and we will lunch overlooking the Roxburgh Gorge. It will be sunburn temperatures so hats and plenty of water are required.

Monday's Walk 6 November
Cardrona Cromwell Pack Track. An exploratory walk up the first few km of the historic Cardona to Comwell Pack Track above Lowburn. This has been closed to the public for the last few years, but a realigned route has recently been negotiated with the landowner who is keen to receive feedback on its suitability for groups such as ours. We will climb up to a suitable viewpoint and lunch spot before returning the same way.
